The challenge
Public on-chain trading exposes traders to MEV frontrunning, sandwich attacks, and wallet tracking. Building a truly confidential trading layer on Flare required combining FAssets with zero-knowledge circuits and TEE-enclave order execution.
The approach
Engineered LarelPool smart contracts on Flare with client-side zero-knowledge proof generation. Balances are shielded as Poseidon2 note commitments in a Merkle tree, orders are encrypted before broadcast, and the matching engine runs inside an AMD SEV Trusted Execution Environment so no party ever sees an unmatched order.
What we did
- //001Shielded Balance Pool (FAssets & FXRP integration)
- //002Confidential dark pool order matching inside a TEE
- //003Zero-knowledge balance proofs (UltraHonk / BN254, Noir circuits)
- //004MEV-resistant enclave execution with on-chain settlement
The outcome
Deepened expertise in Flare State Connector, FAssets bridging, and asynchronous zero-knowledge proof verification on EVM.
