Resolving concurrent text editing conflicts without dropping user keystrokes or introducing merge collision locks.
The approach
Conflict-Free Replicated Data Types (CRDTs): Implemented Yjs over WebSockets to ensure mathematically deterministic text merging. Sandboxed Execution Engine: Used ephemeral Docker containers with CPU/memory limits to run user code safely. Integrated Voice Chat: Embedded peer-to-peer WebRTC voice rooms for pair programming sessions.
